Fire rated doors offer the safest solution to the cold storage doors, providing protection from the fire for more than 90 minutes. They are constructed with high technology fireproof materials and they bear CE EN 1634-1 certification, in order to ensure fire safety.

Fire rated electric sliding doors description
Testing according to CE EN 1634-1 European Fire Protection Standard
When carrying out the fire resistance tests of the doors, the fire resistant doors include the entire door system including the shutter, door leaf, frame and all accessories. The installation of the door is also part of this system. The laboratory which carries out the fire resistance tests of the doors is certified for these of tests. Below is the certificate of the results of the fire tests.

Door leaf thickness
Door leaf thickness 120mm providing insulation for low temperature freezer and positive temperature chiller doors.
Door surface
Galvanized sheet is used with external foodsafe antibacterial plastisol coating (250μm).
Non-flammable materials
Non – flammable materials providing fire endurance up to 60min.
Materials
Inside the door high tech materials are combined with non flammable polyurethane according to DIN 4102-1.
Heating Elements
Heating elements are used inside the frame and inside the threshold in freezer door.
Frame
Insulated frame with high-tech materials made of Stainless steel 304 (sheet metal thickness 1,5mm).
Autoclose mechanism
In case of fire, (when no power failure occurs) the control panel, which is connected to the main fire protection system, closes the door.
Door Closing
In case of fire and power failure, the motor clutch is disengaged so the door can easily moved by hand and the door is automatically closed by autoclose mechanism, fire tested for use on fire protection sliding doors. Damper is used to ensure extra safety.

Fire rated electric sliding cold room door optional inox implementation
AMP's fire rated electric sliding inox cold room door is made of German-made INOX 304 sheet metal (plain or circular pattern), which prevents corrosion and rust. It is installed with a stainless steel corner box, internally reinforced with durable heavy-duty PVC, with a modern German design and high mechanical strength. It can be disinfected with water, soap or disinfectants without damaging the surface or its appearance. It is resistant to hard use, chemicals and impacts, so it has a long life without needing much maintenance. It is also easy to clean as it does not catch bacteria, fungus or mold.
